The kiosk needs a connection to record a sign-in. Sites without reliable coverage typically run the kiosk where there is Wi-Fi or cellular — at the gate or site office — and use QR sign-in from a phone elsewhere on the block.
Can drivers sign in without leaving the truck? ▾
Yes — a QR code at the gate lets them sign in on their own phone, so there is no queue and no shared tablet.
Does it prove we met our health and safety duties? ▾
