Built for New Zealand workplaces

Visitor management system for New Zealand workplaces

Replace the visitor book at your reception with a sign-in kiosk your visitors run themselves. Hosts are told the moment their guest arrives, contractors sign your induction before they start, and you can account for everyone on site from a phone at the assembly point.

Free until 2027 for founding customers. No card, no trial clock.

What a New Zealand workplace actually needs it for

Know who is on site, right now
Visitors, contractors and staff on one live register, across every entrance and every device — the list you need the moment an alarm goes off.
One-tap evacuation roll-call
Take the register to the assembly point on a phone and mark people safe. No printouts, no counting heads from a paper book left burning on the counter.
Contractor inductions, signed and stored
Show your site rules at sign-in, collect the signature, and keep it against the visit for your records.
Hosts told the moment their guest arrives
Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack or WhatsApp — whichever your workplace actually reads.
Replaces the paper book properly
An unattended sign-in book shows every visitor the name, company and phone number of everyone before them. A kiosk shows nobody anything.
Priced for a normal workplace
Built for small and medium sites that need this done well, not for an enterprise procurement process.

Health and safety, in plain terms

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 a PCBU is responsible for the health and safety of everyone at its workplace — visitors and contractors included, not just employees. In practice that means being able to answer two questions at any moment: who is here, and can we get them all out.

A paper book answers neither well. It is only as current as the last person who remembered to sign out, and in an evacuation it is a sheet of paper sitting on the desk you have just left. EntryWatch keeps the register live on every device and lets you run the roll-call from a phone.

EntryWatch supports your obligations under the Act — it does not discharge them, and this is not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a receptionist to use it?

No. Visitors sign themselves in on a tablet at the door or by scanning a QR code on their own phone, and the person they are visiting is notified automatically. It works with or without a front desk.

How does this help with our health and safety obligations?

The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 makes a PCBU responsible for the safety of everyone at its workplace, not only its employees. Knowing exactly who is on site — and being able to account for them in an evacuation — is a practical part of meeting that duty. EntryWatch gives you a live register and one-tap roll-call; it supports your obligations rather than discharging them.

Can contractors complete an induction before they start work?

Yes. Contractors can be shown your site induction and asked to sign it at check-in, or complete it on their phone before arriving, and the signed record is stored against the visit.

What does it run on?

An iPad or Android tablet with the free EntryWatch Kiosk app, or any modern browser on a laptop or display PC. Devices pair to your account with a short code — no per-device setup.

What does it cost?

Founding customers pay nothing until 2027 — the whole platform, no card required. After that, pricing is aimed at small and medium workplaces rather than enterprise budgets.

Can we try it before committing?

Yes. Create an organisation and set up your first location in a few minutes, or ask us and we will configure your first kiosk with you.
